What is Steam Play?

Steam Play is a tool that allows GNU-Linux users to buy and play Windows based games within the Linux Steam client, complete with native Steamworks and OpenVR support. DirectX 11 and 12 implementations are now based on Vulkan, resulting in improved game compatibility and reduced performance impact.

I was able to get DOOM (2016), Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus work with few problems.
